GAMMA SIGMA CHAPTER
OUR HISTORY
Pictured below are the founding members of our reinstated Gamma Sigma chapter of the University of Maryland, College Park. Composed of diverse business and economics majors, our chapter has grown both in numbers and camaraderie since our reformation in 2013 and reinstatement on December 6, 2014. Through our journey, we have slowly, yet surely become a family. Together, we now organize numerous professional, community service, and social events in order to add value to each of our brothers and to form well balanced professionals ready to take on the world ahead.
HERE AT DSP WE VALUE:

As a professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi focuses on supporting brothers holistically. Formally, Delta Sigma Pi hosts numerous chapter-wide events from dinners to gatherings. Informally, brothers consistently support each other at non-DSP related events and spend time with each other. DSP has a unique emphasis on brotherly relations and personal development outside of the rigorous business and professional development aspects of the fraternity.
BROTHERHOOD

We hold a variety of community service events each semester such as reading picture books to elementary school students, shoveling mulch onto trees, holding workshops for high school students interested in business, and more. We have also partnered with local employers to serve the community together. DSP is always looking for new ways to serve and make a difference.
SERVICE

Members of the Gamma Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi exemplify professionalism and maturity in both their personal lives and career. Our chapter holds many educational professional events each semester. These events include, but are not limited to, networking events, resume reviews, panel discussions, mock interviews, and various educational workshops.
PROFESSIONALISM

Delta Sigma Pi provides numerous opportunities for personal growth. In order to build leadership and character, our chapter holds 15 executive positions. Every semester, we have a LEAD conference held to promote growth and networking. Every other year, Grand Chapter Congress is held nationally where brothers from all states unite.
