Our Founding Class

Our Chapter's Story

Pictured above are the founding members of our reinstated Gamma Sigma chapter of the University of Maryland, College Park. Composed of diverse business and economics majors, our chapter has grown both in numbers and camaraderie since our reformation in 2013 and reinstatement on December 6, 2014. Through our journey, we have slowly, yet surely become a family. Together, we now organize numerous professional, community service, and social events in order to add value to each of our brothers and to form well balanced professionals ready to take on the world ahead.

A Message From Our President

Welcome to Delta Sigma Pi, America’s Foremost Professional Business Fraternity. Since our reinstatement in 2016 at the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith Business School, the Gamma Sigma Chapter has worked tirelessly to create a brotherhood committed to upholding our four pillars of scholarship, professionalism, service, and brotherhood. As the nation’s first co-ed business fraternity, we pride ourselves on our diversity and inclusion, working constantly to cultivate a culture of respect that celebrates our differences and capitalizes on our strengths. With over seventy active brothers, we offer an exceptional opportunity to grow professionally, strengthen practical business skills, and experience the lifelong bond of brotherhood.

On behalf of the Gamma Sigma Chapter, I welcome you to our brotherhood and highly encourage you to come out to our recruitment events and learn more about becoming part of our fraternity.
