Delta Sigma Pi is America's Foremost Professional Business Fraternity, spanning over 230 campuses across the nation with over 260,000 initiates, and 1,600+ at Gamma Sigma Chapter alone.

Recruitment is a two-week long set of events spanning from informational sessions to invite-only professional interviews meant to allow potential new members and brothers to meet, engage with, and learn about each other. We hold recruitment twice a year; at the beginning of the fall semester and the beginning of the spring semester.

A bid is a formal invitation to begin participating in the pledge program in order to eventually join our fraternity.

Yes! We highly encourage you to come out to rush again if you did not receive a bid in a previous semester. Many members of our fraternity have rushed more than once, and we encourage you to do the same.

Yes, you can be a member of both a social sorority/fraternity and a professional fraternity. In fact, many brothers within our chapter are involved in social Greek life. However, to be eligible to join Delta Sigma Pi, you must not be apart of another organization underneath the Professional Fraternity Council. (This includes all 4 of the business fraternities at the University of Maryland).
